Salient Features :
- Excellent wetting power over wide ranges of pH and temperature
- Exhibits an outstanding detergency effect with good emulsifying
properties
- Stable to alkalis and acids hence an ideal scouring and milling
agent for wool
Methods of Application :
As A Wetting Agent:
a) 0.5-1.0 gm/lit UNOZIN NIT-L in desizing bath accelerates
the action by ensuring thorough penetration of desizing agent. It
does not affect the efficiency of enzymes during desizing
b) 1 % OWG as a wetting agent for cotton hosiery fabric
c) 0.5-0.5 gm/lit UNOZIN NIT-L prior to continuous
dyeing gives uniform dyeing results
d) 0.5-1.0 gm/lit in garment desizing baths in drum washers
As A Scouring Agent & Detergent:
a) 0.5-1.0 gm/lit UNOZIN NIT-L and 1-2 gm/lit soda
ash is used for scouring of wool at 50°C
b) 1-2 gm/lit UNOZIN NIT-L effectively removes spinning
preparations in the scouring of synthetic and blended fabricsIn Crease
Resistant Finishing baths:
a) 0.5 gm/lit UNOZIN NIT-L with resin finishing liquor
improves even uptake and penetration of the liquor in dry goods.
