Salient Features :
- Chelates all metallic cations.
- Dispersing action on dyebath impurities and insoluble dye salts
- Breaks down dye aggregates, thereby improves levelness of dyeing
- Improves wet fastness properties, due to dispersing action.
- Softens water, prevents dulling of shades in dyeing.
- Minimizes deposits and scaling on inner parts of machine due
to metallic salts.
- Equalizes pH of fabrics uniformly to achieve level dyeing.
Methods of Application
In soft flow or jet dyeing machines.
1.0 to 3.0 gm/lit of SEQUACEL DBC in bath is introduced
after initial wet out and run for ten minutes to equalize pH , adjusted
to 6.5 to 7.0 if required by adding acetic acid.
Carry out normal dyeing.
In garment dyeing with reactive colours, addition of 1.0-2.0 gm/lit
of SEQUACEL DBC in drum washer, prior to introduction of dyes will
be highly beneficial for achieving bright and uniform dyeing effects.
