Salient Features :
- Imparts pleasant softness yet promotes water absorbency characteristics
vitally required in terry-towels and alike goods.
- Unlike normal organic or amino-functional silicone based softeners,
it does not cause any significant yellowing.
- Does not make pile go limp, preserving most valued bulkiness
of terry-towel goods.
- Satisfactory wash durability of finish.
- Free from unpleasant odors.
- Adequate fixation during normal drying operation at elevated
temperatures.
Methods of Application
Can be applied by both exhausts as well as by padding methods.
EXHAUST METHODS
0.5-2.0% on weight of goods of HYDROFIL TT, at
4.5-5.5 pH of bath, around 450 - 500 C.
PADDING METHOD
2.0 to 6.0 gm/lit. of HYDROFIL TT, preferably at
pH 5.5 to 6.5 to minimize tailing effects.
No high temperature curing needed for fixation.
Shelf Life
Six months under normal conditions of storage with tightly closed
container.
Packing
50,100,200. Kg.in plastic carboys.
