Enzyme System with Combined Desizing Scouring Activity
For Cotton Fabrics.
| Properties |
| Composition |
Multifunctional blend of stabilized Enzymes. |
| Appearance |
Buff colored nondusting powder |
| Compatibility |
Not compatible with moderately strong alkali, acids, oxidizing
or reducing agents, heavy metallic compounds. |
Salient Features :
- Stabilized enzyme mix.
- Selective activity on specific natural impurities including
starches in grey cotton fabrics.
- Efficient pre-treatment aid for cotton and cotton blended goods.
- Applicable in continuous or batchwise type of processing.
- Novel use in quenching bath of singeing machines.
- Economizes in cost of utilities due to combined desizing and
scouring action
- Adaptability in action, can be applied in open width, pad-batch
or jigger types of machinery, over a wide range of liquor ratios.
- Minimal damage to fibres due to milder conditions
- Significantly reduces load on effluent treatment systems
- Safe to handle and use practically.
Methods Of Application
PAD-BATCH SYSTEMS.
Goods can be padded at 80% to 100% pick up with
UNOZIN NIT 0.5 gm/lit
ECOSCOUR DS 5.0 – 10.0 gm/lit
pH of bath should be maintained at 8.5 with Soda ash.
The batched goods should be stored for 16-24 hours. The severity of
treatment can be enhanced by carrying out padding and storage at elevated
temperatures. Rinsing and peroxide bleaching should follow this as
per requirement. The application may also be carried out conveniently
on singeing machines at the quenching stage.
BATCH WISE APPLICATIONS
Enzymatic desizing, normally carried out on jiggers, can be modified
for combined desizimg / bioscouring. The goods treated at 60-65 C
for 60-90 minutes, depending upon type of material.
UNOZIN NIT 0.5% SODA ASH To give pH 8.5
ECOSCOUR DS 0.5 – 1.0% (on weight of goods)
This is followed by rinsing and peroxide bleaching if desired.
Shelf Life
Three months under normal conditions of storage, below 30°c
Packing
5,35,50 kg.
Safety
In case of contact with skin or eyes, rinse with plenty of water.
